With extensive experience in innovation management with Nokia, Openbit and Tanla, Arto has authored/co-authored more than 20 patents related to smartphone design and features, digital image processing, digital rights management and mobile payment. He is VP Strategic Planning and New Products of Openbit / Tanla Oy, the leading provider of DRM and on-device payment solutions for Symbian and Windows Mobile applications.

Arto also heads Tanla's mPayments business.
