Tanla’s Short Message Service Center (SMSC) seamlessly handles large volumes of person-to-person (P2P) and application to person (A2P) messaging streams. The SMSC optimizes the network to cope with the continually evolving messaging needs of today’s users and provides a scalable solution to cater for increased capacity in the future.
The Tanla SMSC is a carrier-grade, high throughput platform that handles input, collection, storage, management and forwarding of mobile originated (MO) and mobile terminated (MT) messages. The SMSC provides a single point of access for Content and Value Added Services Providers, simplifying third party service provisioning. It provides operators with system log reports, SMSC service log reports, and operational measurements. It also includes summaries for message delivery attempts, message delivery retries, mobile originated and mobile terminated attempts, and it supports the MAP protocol to communicate with MSC’s and HLRs in the GSM network.
