Associate Project Manager

About the Role: The job is to work in our Products and Solutions department – Voice Product line.

What You’ll be Responsible for?

Gather requirements from stakeholders and have them translated to product requirements.

• Manage product backlog and product priorities of the Voice service and Other custom requirements.

• Assist in development of internal systems by documenting requirements, organising UAT, providing necessary training and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Monitor project status while in development, provide required assistance to internal team and report to relevant stake holders on the status of the project.

• Conduct and provide product demos for new features and functionalities built.

• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

• Drive product launches including working with cross functional teams

• Ability to create internal product documents like concept notes, product specification documents, flow charts and manuals

• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job

• Coordinate across multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing

• Ability to solve problems and to swim in ambiguity for solutions through lateral thinking.

• High Confidence levels, ability to take ownership & accountability with focus on the end result

What you’d have?

2-3 years of relevant experience.

• Should have a technical background in mobility, telecom or software development.

• Knowledge of Voice and SMS services would be added advantage.

• Should have a technical background in education or work experience.

• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.

 • Knowledge of Database (MySQL, Oracle, etc.) MS Office (Word, Power Point, Microsoft project, Visio and Excel) desirable.

• Equally formidable creative, quantitative, and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal communications, cross-group collaboration skills, analytical, structured and strategic thinking
